The fish have nowhere to hide (if they are there, we will find them). Big Cat is surveyed for 26 passengers and 3 crew and is full walk around with seating at every fishing position, we normally fish around 14 -17 per trip giving you plenty of room to land the big ones in comfort.
EXPERIENCED CREW ON-BOARD
Our skipper, has more than ten years’ experience in the charter fishing industry and our deck crew are certified and fully trained to assist you in every and any way you require. Our staff know the Moreton Bay area to waters off Sushine Coast and will help you to locate and wind up some quality fishies. That is if you have what it takes to land a big one.
We fish with Penn Fathom, Shimano Tekota 800, TLD’s, and Baitrunner’s fitted to custom built Big Cat rods for a quality experience. You are welcome to bring your own gear but you really shouldn’t bother.
Big Cat has multiple extra large built-in freezers and fridges to keep your catch fresh and delicious. PLEASE NOTE it is illegal to fillet any fish on-board the vessel.
Big Cat can handle all forms of fishing the big deep blue sea from sport fishing for pelagics such as tuna, wahoo, mackerel, and mahi mahi to bottom bash fishing for snapper, pearl perch, jobfish, tuskfish, sweetlip, sampsonfish, kingfish, pigfish… and many more.
We only fish with quality Mustad hooks to provide a cleaner hookup and additionally have a wide range of lures on board for trolling.
