Departure Location
All charters depart from the Cleveland Public Jetty unless under customer specific circumstances which will attract extra charges.

What time do we depart?

Day Trip
Departure time varies for Summer and Winter please check with Big Cat Charters office. Please ensure you are at the boat 15 minutes prior to departure. The boat starts heading back at around 12.30 pm (also dependant on weather). You can expect to return to the Public jetty at approximately 2:00pm.

Night Trip
By arrangement only, special rates apply.

Running Late?
To be fair to other passengers the boat cannot wait, if you are late or if you don’t turn up you will forfeit your ticket. (Times may vary, check with Big Cat Charters Office)

Food and Drinks:
Abundant amounts food (Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks) and drink (Coke, Pepsi Max, Solo and Water) are provided, please feel free to bring your own if you want something different. Special catering is also available on request. Alcohol is permitted on-board Big Cat in reasonable amounts only! We practice and promote a Safe Drinking Policy. ONLY CANNED DRINKS ARE PERMITTED.

What is Brisbane offshore weather like?
South East Queensland boasts a warm sunny subtropical climate. The average summer temperatures (Nov – Mar) range between 20 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, while the winter (June to Aug.) temperatures fall between 14 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius.

Big Cat Charters aims to give you an awesome day on the water!
If the conditions are bad, it’s most likely that it could be a bad fishing experience. Big Cat reserves the right to cancel a charter if the conditions are not safe. Rain does not stop a charter going out.

What do we offer onboard?

Bait & Tackle
Included in the standard rate is the use of quality fishing rods and reels to handle absolutely any monster fish you might plan to hook. You can bring your own fishing equipment or lures if so desired or use ours.

All our equipment is in top condition and serviced regularly and we also carry numerous spares as precautionary.
